Mission West Community Development Partners

CEDS 2022-2027 SURVEY

CEDS is an acronym for Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy.

The content for the CEDS is updated annually with a complete rewrite of the CEDS occurring every five years with input from our community. The CEDS plan covers Lake, Sanders and Mineral Counties and the Flathead Reservation. The results create an economic roadmap to diversify and strengthen our regional economy and qualify the region for additional assistance from federal and state funding agencies. The CEDS is a pathway to managing these challenges and creating an environment of informed decision making.

Next Steps: We are inviting everyone to complete the survey to identify your concerns and needs. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete with little to no writing (unless you want to add comments).

The survey will close on July 15, 2022.

The Mission West Economic Development District is conducting this survey to gather feedback for the development of our 5-Year Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for Lake, Mineral and Sanders Counties and the Flathead Indian Reservation. The purpose of this survey is to verify findings from the regional meetings and public meetings held during 2022 and to receive additional feedback on projects and priorities for the region. You are invited to contribute your thoughts and ideas through this survey to help us develop our CEDS document.

The survey requires about 10 minutes to complete and will be closed July 15, 2022. Community input is important to the process and we greatly appreciate your time in taking this survey.

Tell Us About Remote Worker Skills

This project is designed to capture the needs for remote worker skills for small businesses looking to incorporate these skills into their operations, and individuals interested in developing remote worker skills to increase employment opportunities. This project is part of the feasibility study for co-working spaces and will help to define the programming needs to support developing remote worker skills that can be available online or through a physical co-working space.

Designing programming for remote worker skills will be customized for our communities. Programming for remote worker skills can be delivered in person or online and can enhance technology skills of small business owners, employed professionals working from home or their office or a combination of those locations, or members of our community who want to develop more opportunities to earn revenue through employment as a remote worker.

We are asking for your comments and input to see if developing programming to develop remote worker skills is feasible. Your help in answering these questions is invaluable and will help to make decisions if remote worker skills programming should be established. It should take you 10-15 minutes to answer the survey.
